District names 2007 Pillar of Parkway recipients
Eleven Parkway School District employees and volunteers have been selected as 2007 Pillars of Parkway. The Pillar selection committee chose the recipients from a field of 45 nominees.
The following individuals have been named this year's Pillar of Parkway Award recipients:
Mike Gohn, director of athletics and activities; Jenny Hosch, volunteer; Peggy Wald, staff development-elementary tech facilitator; Steve Colombo, director of special services; Jeff Dee, a teacher at Parkway West High School; Kristi Garcia, volunteer; Cindy Scanlon, volunteer; Diana Stewart, coordinator of government and community affairs; Jean Cidorowich, a secretary; Don Rothermich, activities and athletic director at Parkway Central High school; and Sally Sandy, director of Parkway Adult Education.
The criteria for the award include making a long-term commitment to the district; demonstrating consistent leadership; motivating and inspiring others; going beyond what is expected; and providing extraordinary service to the Parkway community.
Honorees will be honored April 30 as part of Parkway Appreciation Evening. |
